Job summary

Kanadevia Inova is seeking an Automation Software Engineer to develop DCS software for EfW and Renewable Gas plants, and to build secure, connected systems including IT/OT interfaces. You will test, commission, and deliver projects on-site and remotely, with international travel opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience in automation and industrial control systems is preferred.
Willing to travel internationally up to 6 months per year.
Strong problem-solving and hands-on learning mindset.
Fluent English communication in written and spoken form.
Interest in DCS projects for EfW and RG plants.

Responsibilities

Develop DCS software for EfW and RG plants and PLC software for RG plants and package units.
Configure IT/OT interface including switches, routers, DMZ routers and firewalls; design IT/OT interfaces.
Perform Factory Acceptance Testing and commission systems on site and remotely (approx. 10% travel).
Review technical specs and RfQ documents to ensure codes and client requirements are met; participate in design reviews.
Help develop and improve the DCS template library (HMI faceplates, typicals) and share knowledge with colleagues.
