Sii Poland is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer to develop and integrate control and SCADA solutions for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role is remote, with occasional travel to Germany, and combines expertise in industrial automation with power and grid systems.

You will collaborate with customers and TSOs, configure SCADA systems, perform FAT/SAT, and troubleshoot to ensure reliable operation of energy storage projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SCADA and control systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automation and controls (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, particularly Modbus.
• Practical experience with grid systems and energy management solutions.
• Willingness to travel to Germany about once a month.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Develop and configure control and SCADA systems for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Integrate systems via Modbus and other industrial protocols.
• Conduct FAT and SAT (Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing).
• Commissioning and troubleshooting control solutions to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with customers and TSOs to align system capabilities with operational requirements.
