Job summary

Talent Complete is seeking an experienced Datasphere Consultant to support a large-scale transformation of financial analytics and reporting toward a cloud-native data architecture. You will work with SAP Datasphere, S/4HANA, and SAC to harmonize reporting for all entities across the organization.

The role involves designing scalable cloud data models, implementing data products, and driving architectural evolution within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Cloud data warehousing and data engineering experience.
• Experience migrating SAP BW/4HANA to modern cloud architectures is a plus.
• Hands-on with SAP Datasphere, S/4HANA and reporting development (SAC).

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Datasphere Consultant to support a large-scale transformation of financial analytics and reporting towards a modern, cloud-native data architecture. As part of our ERP roadmap, the reporting procedures and system landscape are transitioning to a modern, cloud-based data architecture. The Financial Analytics & Reporting teams are responsible for implementing global Financial Analytics solutions. These solutions harmonize Financial reporting and planning solutions used in the future by all our legal entities.

Responsibilities:

• As part of a Financial Analytics & Reporting team, you will be responsible for the analysis, conception, development, and implementation of next-generation finance reporting solutions and data products utilizing SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• You will actively drive our architectural evolution from traditional BW/4HANA environments toward a decentralized, cloud-native reporting ecosystem.
• You will play a crucial role in ensuring that reporting procedures and data landscapes are harmonized, simplified, and scalable across all our legal entities by leveraging modern developer frameworks, AI-assisted tools, and an intimate understanding of the new S/4HANA finance architecture.
• Analyze and understand complex finance reporting requirements.
• Conceptualize, design, and implement scalable cloud data models and data products within SAP Datasphere, aligning with Data Mesh principles.
• Develop and deliver advanced business intelligence solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and the SAC Excel Add-in.
• Utilize Python and SQL as primary development languages to build robust data pipelines, transformations, and automations.
• Leverage SAP Joule to accelerate development cycles, optimize data queries, and enhance conversational user insights.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional, global business and IT teams within large-scale Agile project environments.
• Conduct rigid testing and validation to ensure the accuracy, performance, and usability of finance data solutions.
• Stay ahead of industry best practices regarding cloud data warehousing, decentralized data architecture, and AI-driven analytics.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in cloud data warehousing and data engineering, ideally with a strong understanding of migrating SAP BW/4HANA to modern cloud architectures.
• Proficient in SAP Datasphere and S/4HANA, with hands-on expertise in reporting development (prior experience with SAP BW/4HANA is considered a strong asset).
• Deep conceptual and practical understanding of Data Mesh concepts, including data decentralization, data-as-a-product, and federated governance.
• Proficiency in designing enterprise-grade reports and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and the SAC Excel Add-in.
• Strong development skills in SQL and Python for data engineering, modeling, and scripting.
• A solid understanding of the new SAP S/4HANA finance model (Universal Journal / ACDOCA) and how its underlying data structures impact global financial reporting.
• Experience or strong baseline exposure working with SAP Joule or equivalent AI copilot tools to optimize development workflows.
• Proven track record of operating successfully within large-scale Agile project frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum-at-Scale).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to bridge complex IT concepts with business requirements.
• Fluency in English, with the ability to independently engage and influence cross-functional global stakeholders.
