Job summary

Altherias in Warsaw is seeking a seasoned Datacenter Technician to support server and network device installation, cabling, and labelling in a high‑availability data center environment. The role requires hands-on experience, strong documentation, and the ability to work across Poland and abroad, with a valid B category driving license.

Minimum 3 years in IT and 2 years in a similar position are expected. You will follow change management procedures and ensure asset management accuracy,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of higher education.
• Minimum 3 years of IT relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience at similar position.
• Manual Handling proficiency.
• Ability to work in a data center environment.
• Driving license cat. B.

Job description

We are looking for a Datacenter Technician for a key client based in Warsaw.

Knowledge and skills:

• Hands-on experience with server and network device installation
• Understanding of rack layouts, PDUs, cabling standards, and labelling
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, patching, switches)
• Familiarity with asset management and inventory systems
• Ability to follow change management and data center procedures
• Basic troubleshooting of hardware components
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Proficiency in "Rack & Stack" procedures

Specific requirements:

• Manual Handling proficiency
• Ability to work in a data center environment
• Ability to work between different client's sites in Poland and abroad
• Driving license cat. B

Education:

• Minimum level of education: bachelor’s degree or 3 years of higher education.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of IT relevant professional experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience at similar position
