Job summary

TechTree is seeking a Data Center Technician in Warsaw, on-site, for a long-term contract with our client. Install, maintain, and decommission DC components, servers and switches; manage cabling and inventories; and coordinate hardware lifecycle with the DC Contract Manager.

The role requires hands-on rack & cabling experience, 3+ years IT/DC ops, a valid B category driving licence, and willingness to obtain EU confidential clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT experience, 2+ years in data center operations.
• Hands-on rack/cabling/PDU experience and basic LAN/switching knowledge.
• Comfortable with physical/manual-handling demands of a DC environment.
• Valid driving licence (category B).
• Willingness to hold CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install/decommission DC components, servers, and network switches (Rack & Stack).
• Maintain cabling, labelling, and inventory audits.
• Manage stores & logistics and the hardware lifecycle.
• Support hardware maintenance/RMA with the DC Contract Manager.
• Plan capacity/rack layouts and oversee third-party contractors.
