Job summary

Xebia Group is seeking a senior leader to drive data platform delivery and governance across complex digital transformation programs in the EU. You will partner with sponsors and global teams to align business and technology, shaping operating models and data stewardship frameworks.

We expect 10+ years in IT/data delivery, with senior leadership experience in data transformations, and a strong track record in governance, data quality, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT, data, platform or digital transformation delivery.
• At least 5 years in senior delivery, programme leadership, engagement leadership, or data practice leadership related to data transformation.
• Credible experience with data platform, data governance or data transformation initiatives; generic cloud initiatives alone do not count.
• Ability to discuss operating model, data stewardship, data quality, source ownership, lineage, integration, and platform adoption.
• Strong executive stakeholder management with senior sponsors and central programme teams.
• Proven ability to challenge stakeholders when readiness or data quality is weak.
• Experience with structured delivery governance: steering meetings, risk logs, decision logs, and escalation paths.
• Fluent, high-impact English; Portuguese/French/Spanish is an advantage depending on region.

Responsibilities

• leading the engagement from kickoff through assessment, scoping, delivery, operationalisation and handover
• driving business and technology alignment around data platform adoption, operating model, data ownership, stewardship, data quality and handover
• validating readiness to proceed: sponsor commitment, SME availability, data owner authority, source access, decision-making and remediation ownership
• acting as the main engagement interface for business sponsors, senior data stakeholders, central programme teams and technology teams
• coordinating Data Architect, Platform Engineer, DQ /Analytics and knowledge management roles; translate findings into business decisions
• owning risks, issues, decision logs and escalation flow; escalate early if a local issue may affect readiness or handover
