Job summary

GGS IT Consulting is seeking a Data Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable data solutions that unite data from legacy and modern systems, enabling advanced analytics, automation, and AI-based applications.

You will build core data infrastructure, develop data-driven solutions, and connect data with AI, collaborating with clients to produce future-proof architectures and actionable analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar position.
• SQL programming expertise.
• Python or another programming language knowledge.
• Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake.
• Experience in Git and designing ETL processes.
• English knowledge at C1 level (spoken and written).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, architecture discussions, and solution design with customers.
• Design and implement scalable data solutions and data models.
• Develop data pipelines, ETL processes, and system integrations.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders on objectives and risks.

Job Description

As a Data Solutions Architect, you will work on projects focused on combining data from multiple legacy and modern systems into one reliable, scalable data foundation. The goal is to support better analytics, reporting, automation, and AI-based solutions using modern data platforms.You will be responsible for designing and creating solutions for complex client needs.

You’ll work across three key areas:

• Building Core Data Infrastructure - designing scalable data integration layers, pipelines, data models, and data warehouses.
• Developing Data-Driven Solutions - creating backend logic and data-focused applications that support business processes and decision-making.
• Connecting Data with AI - preparing and integrating data to power AI and machine learning use cases.

You’ll be at the intersection of business and technology, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and propose comprehensive, future‑proof solutions.

Detailed duties:

• Working directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, priorities, and technical requirements;
• Leading requirements-gathering sessions, technical workshops, architecture discussions, and solution-design meetings with customers;
• Designing and implementing scalable data solutions using modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake;
• Building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and system integrations;
• Designing data models, databases, and data warehouse architectures to support business and analytical requirements;
• Developing data processing solutions using Python and SQL and/or other technologies;
• Gathering requirements from customers;
• Proposing business solutions for customers’ needs;
• Preparing a necessary technical specification;
• Planning next releases, scoping the implementation;
• Working closely with team members and managing code review;
• Solving the issues with the existing architecture and delivery process;
• Working closely with customers, communicating project status, raising risks.

Qualifications

• Min. 5years of experience in a similar position;
• SQL programming knowledge (expert);
• Python or other programming language knowledge;
• Experience in working withdata platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft FabricorSnowflake;
• Experience in GIT;
• Experience in designing ETL processes and software implementation;
• English knowledge (C1level) is a must- both spoken and written (working with international clients);
• High communication skills - consulting approach;
• Teamwork skills, good organization, planning, and a positive attitude.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of cloud technologies such asAzure, AWS orGCP;
• Experience in AI implementation.
