Job summary

Outokumpu is seeking a Data Security Specialist to design, implement, and maintain data protection programs across enterprise systems in a hybrid work environment. The role focuses on building robust data security standards, policies, and classification frameworks to safeguard sensitive information.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in information security and hands-on experience with Microsoft security tools and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Cyber Security, Data Management, Information Systems, Law, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in information security, data protection, governance, or compliance.
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Information Protection, Data Classification, DLP, Microsoft 365 Security, AI Governance, Data Lifecycle Management, Identity & Access Management, Insider Risk Management, and data governance principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data security standards, policies, and information classification frameworks.
• Design, implement, and improve Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls across Microsoft 365, Azure, and other platforms.
• Drive initiatives to identify and protect sensitive business data.
• Ensure data protection requirements are implemented across enterprise systems.
• Monitor emerging data security technologies and best practices.
• Advise and educate stakeholders on data security and information protection.
• Support compliance with privacy and security regulations, secure AI adoption, and safe exchange of information with customers, suppliers, and partners.
