Job summary

Outokumpu Chrome Oy in Poland is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen our defenses across IT and OT environments. You will detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents while developing robust playbooks.

You will lead threat exposure and vulnerability management initiatives, write queries, automate processes, and collaborate across functions to raise security awareness.

Candidates with strong IT security background, certifications, and leadership skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Your Role:

• Engage in the prevention, detection, analysis, and response to cybersecurity incidents across IT and OT environments.
• Innovate and enhance incident response strategies, crafting effective playbooks.
• Lead initiatives in threat exposure and posture management programs.
• Dive into writing queries, conducting investigations, and automating processes, while continuously developing your skills.
• Play a key role in supporting the vulnerability management lifecycle.
• Participate in collaborative security exercises to strengthen our defenses.
• Foster cross-functional relationships to enhance security measures.
• Advocate for security awareness and education across the organization.
• Suitable degree in IT or related field (Bachelors/Masters)
• Strong expertise in Cyber/Information Security.
• Proficiency in security operations and penetration testing.
• Solid understanding of risk-based vulnerability prioritization.
• Familiarity with cutting-edge security technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IT and OT infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud platforms is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, GCIH, GDAT) are advantageous.
• Leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Adaptability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
