Job summary

Investigo in Warsaw is seeking a Data Security Expert to own two of the biggest areas in modern cybersecurity: protecting data and leading incident response. This hybrid role places you at the center of safeguarding critical information and coordinating crisis management during major security events.

You will drive data security strategy, define access controls and encryption standards, and work with security, IT, legal, and risk teams to strengthen the organization’s resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience in data security or cyber security leadership.
• Strong knowledge of IAM and modern authentication technologies.
• Experience leading security incidents and crisis response.
• Familiarity with data protection, encryption, and standards such as NIST or ISO 27001.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own data security across the organization.
• Define access control, identity, encryption, and data protection standards.
• Improve data security controls and reduce risk exposure.
• Lead incident response and crisis management.
• Run cyber exercises and test organizational readiness.
• Coordinate stakeholders across security, IT, legal, risk, and the business during incidents.
