Job summary

Investigo in Warsaw is seeking a Data Security Expert to own two of the biggest areas in modern cybersecurity: protecting data and leading incident response. This hybrid role places you at the center of safeguarding critical information and coordinating crisis management during major security events.

You will drive data security strategy, define access controls and encryption standards, and work with security, IT, legal, and risk teams to strengthen the organization’s resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience in data security or cyber security leadership.
• Strong knowledge of IAM and modern authentication technologies.
• Experience leading security incidents and crisis response.
• Familiarity with data protection, encryption, and standards such as NIST or ISO 27001.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.

We're looking for a Security Expert to own two of the biggest areas in modern cybersecurity: protecting critical data and leading the response when incidents happen.

You'll drive data security strategy, shape how sensitive information is protected across the business, and take the lead when major cyber incidents require calm heads and decisive action.

What you'll be doing

• Owning data security across the organisation
• Defining standards around access control, identity, encryption and data protection
• Driving improvements to data security controls and reducing risk exposure
• Leading incident response and crisis management activities
• Running cyber exercises and testing organisational readiness
• Coordinating stakeholders across security, IT, legal, risk and the wider business during major incidents
• Turning lessons learned into meaningful security improvements

What you'll bring

• Strong experience in data security, security assurance or cyber security leadership
• A solid understanding of identity, access management and modern authentication technologies
• Experience leading security incidents and crisis response activities
• Knowledge of data protection, encryption and security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and make good decisions when it matters most
