Job summary

Bunge Warsaw is seeking a Data Scientist with strong commercial analytics experience to join the Business Technology Data and Analytics team. You will build and optimize large-scale models, communicate value to stakeholders, and collaborate across multiple data roles to deliver scalable analytical solutions.

The role focuses on turning complex data into actionable commercial insights while contributing to a culture of learning and reusable components for sustainable impact.

Qualifications

• Post graduate degree in STEM or Bachelor with data science experience.
• Strong foundations in math, analytics and computer science; ML methods and stats.
• 3+ years hands-on Python and SQL experience.
• Comfortable with Bash scripting.
• Experience writing reusable code with version control and automation pipelines.
• Ability to move projects from POC to production.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform, with preference to GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test reusable data science codebase following best practices.
• Develop understanding of internal data products to drive commercial insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement scalable solutions.
• Work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to deliver analytical solutions.
• Document design, function and output of models for varied audiences.
• Ensure timely deliverables and maintain solutions over time.
• Communicate data insights and value to business stakeholders.
• Contribute to learning through reusable modules and tutorials.
