Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer in Warsaw to join a global team driving analytics and data-driven decision making. You will design end-to-end BI solutions, build data models, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to deliver actionable insights for core business activities.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, experience with Tableau/Looker/PowerBI, and a strong Linux/SQL foundation. Hybrid work and a strong benefits package are offered.

Overview:

This position will work to create end to end solutions, helping clients organize, structure and visualize their data in a way that delivers value and actionable insights. Key responsibilities will include:

• Create, prepare, and maintain databases and tables to power reports, dashboards, predictive models, and downstream analysis.
• Continuously develop and maintain an understanding of Business Intelligence technology and architecture, including data warehousing, ETL/ELT process, reporting tools and other methods of information delivery.

Essential Functions:

Main Accountabilities:

• Create and maintain customized SQL queries to build reporting data structures.
• Build and maintain database models, including fine tuning and optimizing queries, data pipelines, and automation workflows.
• Validate data to determine and document any gaps between available data and requirements for reporting outputs, dashboards, modeling use cases, and downstream analysis.
• Operating within engineering best practices and following change release processes leveraging tools such as GitHub
• Contribute to project teams that are developing or modifying highly complex information solutions.
• Has in-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines. Adapts plans for specific short-term projects within the department and recommends solutions/best practices.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Participates in small to medium (5+ people) projects of moderate complexity; Contributes to process improvements. Responsible for the execution of main activities or staff to obtain important results
• Performs a variety of complex tasks; Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve processes. Complex problems will require analysis to understand. Solves difficult, non-routine problems
• Successful candidates will take a new perspective on existing solutions
• Works independently with general supervision, receiving daily guidance and direction from the team and product leader
• Interact with Projects Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, and stakeholders to acquire and precise requirements.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies:

• Must have solid understanding of Agile methodologies & collaborate within an Scrum / Agile team
• Working with a leading analytics or relational database system, such as Oracle, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced PL-SQL programming.
• Possess strong technical skills in database management systems and BI technologies such as Tableau, Looker, and PowerBI.
• Developing and implementing data transformation via ETL processes and data pipelines, including experience in ETL software such as AecorSoft.
• Working within GCP, AWS, Snowflake, or Azure cloud-based data solutions

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years of position related experience, or equivalent combo of education and experience level.
• 3+ years of strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL-SQL programming
• Proficiency in English
