Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to establish and expand enterprise-wide governance practices for a healthcare-focused organization undergoing data management transformation. You will ensure data is trusted, accessible, compliant, and ready for analytics and AI-enabled initiatives.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to implement governance frameworks, data catalogs, and metrics, driving adoption and measurable value across the enterprise.

Job description

Join a project for an international healthcare-focused organization undergoing a major transformation of its data management capabilities. We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Lead who will play a key role in establishing and expanding enterprise-wide governance practices, ensuring that data is trusted, accessible, compliant, and ready to support advanced analytics and emerging technologies. In this position, you will work closely with stakeholders across business and technology functions to translate governance principles into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable value.

Your tasks

• Lead the implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide data governance and stewardship practices across multiple business areas
• Drive the rollout of governance frameworks, facilitating onboarding, training, and enablement activities for key data stakeholders
• Oversee the deployment and optimization of data cataloging and data discovery capabilities to improve data accessibility and transparency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed governance processes into daily operations and decision-making
• Monitor governance performance through defined metrics, providing regular reporting on adoption, quality, and operational effectiveness
• Continuously improve governance processes by evaluating innovative approaches, including automation and AI-supported data management solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Data Governance Lead, Data Stewardship Lead, or similar enterprise-level data governance role
• Proven track record of driving adoption of governance standards, processes, and platforms across diverse business functions
• Hands-on experience delivering data governance initiatives involving both business and technical stakeholders, including coordination of external service providers
• Practical experience with enterprise data governance and metadata management platforms such as Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud, Cloud Data Governance and Catalog, Cloud Data Quality, Cloud Data Marketplace, or comparable solutions
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven data management practices, with the ability to convert strategic objectives into actionable processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with fluent spoken and written English
