Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking a Data Engineer in Warsaw to own end-to-end data lifecycles, build batch and streaming pipelines, and harmonize supply chain data.

You will partner with Data Scientists, Operations Analysts, and SCM stakeholders, using AWS, Spark/PySpark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, and Databricks to drive forecasting, inventory optimization, and logistics visibility. Strong communication and ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI tooling and practical AI workflow management.
• 3+ years of work experience as a Data Engineer with production data.
• Fluency in Python, SQL, and PySpark for building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on cloud.
• Strong data modeling and relational architecture skills for supply chain domains.
• Experience with software development practices and tools (Git, CI/CD, Docker, AWS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication to bridge technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data lifecycle in Supply Chain Operations, from architecture to production.
• Design, build, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines across procurement, WMS, and logistics networks.
• Model supply chain domains (recipe components, inventory turnover, fulfillment) into analytical datasets.
• Develop real-time data integrations for tracking inventory, order status, and shipments.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Operations Analysts to operationalize forecasting and optimization models.
• Ensure data quality, freshness, and lineage for dashboards and KPIs.
• Work with AWS, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, and Databricks in a modern cloud data stack.
• Guide cross-functional stakeholders and coach team members.
