Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Demand Forecasting in its HelloTech team in Warsaw. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and improving time series and causal models used across HelloFresh’s global markets.

You will work with forecasting scientists and ML engineers to deliver models to production and help shape data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, international setting. You will be curious, fast-learning, and capable of prioritizing problems, offering multiple solution

Qualifications

• Proficiency with GenAI tooling to boost productivity and guide GenAI-supervised development flow.
• Fluency in Python and the scientific stack (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib).
• Experience in SQL for data retrieval and analysis.
• Strong background in demand forecasting, time series and causal models.
• Ability to deploy ML workloads in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in an international setting.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver demand forecasting time series and causal models from data collection to production.
• Collaborate with forecasting scientists and ML engineers to productionize models.
• Mentor junior data scientists and coach the team to raise impact.
• Communicate with non-technical stakeholders and translate business goals into data-driven solutions.
• Experiment with new approaches and GenAI tooling to improve forecasting accuracy.
