Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. in Warsaw is seeking a Data Engineer to collaborate with Munich Re on delivering data solutions for a Global Specialty Insurance unit. You will build data assets and dashboards enabling data-driven decision-making across multi-source data landscapes.

You will work with English fluency, 1–3 years of hands-on data engineering, SQL and Python, Power BI, and GenAI integration to support underwriting and claims analytics in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math or equivalent.
• MS preferred or equivalent advanced degree.
• 1–3 years of data engineering experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience in data modeling and data ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Develop data assets and analytics pipelines.
• Prepare structured and unstructured data for analysis and BI reporting.
• Work with data from multiple sources to deliver high-quality data.
• Create dashboards using Power BI to enable data-driven decisions.
• Incorporate GenAI into data workflows for information extraction and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with a global community of Data Analytics and AI experts.
