Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) in Warsaw recruits for a strategic GenAI/ML role focused on delivering AI-driven digitalisation within the insurance domain. You will design, train, and deploy GenAI solutions, collaborating with IT and business units in an agile environment.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in natural sciences or related fields, strong Python/R skills, and experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). Willingness to travel and knowledge of GenAI is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Fluent spoken and written English.
• University degree in Natural Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
• Solid knowledge of Python and R; cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).
• Hands-on experience in statistical modelling, ML, AI and data visualization; GenAI knowledge.
• MLOps experience desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with large structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategic digitalisation projects focused on GenAI.
• Designing and implementing ML/AI solutions (deep learning) considering GenAI developments.
• Contributing to deployment of ML/GenAI solutions including training, fine-tuning, prompt engineering and monitoring.
• Collaborating with IT and business units in agile cross-functional teams to deploy ML/GenAI solutions.
• Building and maintaining a company-wide network to foster an AI community.
• Travel willingness and insurance industry experience would be advantageous.

How you will get the job done

• developing and implementing strategic digitalisation projects with focus on (Gen)AI
• designing and implementing machine learning and AI solutions (in particular deep learning), taking into account the latest developments in GenAI
• contributing to the development and productive deployment of machine learning and (Gen)AI solutions, including model training, fine‑tuning and prompt engineering, as well as continuous monitoring and optimisation of the methods and technologies used
• working closely with IT and business units in agile, cross‑functional teams to implement machine learning and (Gen)AI solutions
• helping to build and maintaining a company‑wide network to foster a strong AI community
• having work experience in insurance industry

Skills and experience you will need

• fluent spoken and written English
• university degree in Natural Sciences (Applied) Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
• solid knowledge of relevant programming and modelling languages (e.g. Python (preferred) and R), business intelligence tools and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS)
• hands‑on experience in statistical modelling, machine learning, AI and data visualisation complemented by knowledge in the development and use of GenAI applications and large language models; MLOps experience is desirable
• strong analytical skills and experience in processing large structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data sets, supplemented by experience with GenAI applications
• willingness to innovate and a proactive way of working combined with the ability to think and act in a networked manner
• willingness to travel
