Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) is seeking a Data Solution Architect to define and implement architecture, standards and best practices for scalable Data Hubs supporting analytics, reporting, operations and Generative AI use cases.

You will guide engineers, shape data governance and ensure system scalability and performance while aligning with business needs across global markets. Join a dynamic, multicultural team in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English.
• Strong expertise in Azure-based data platforms and Databricks.
• Deep knowledge of Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark.
• Experience with dimensional, relational, and NoSQL models.
• Strong background in data policies, lineage, and compliance.
• Proficiency with Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, Event Hubs.
• Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes/AKS, Docker.
• Ability to define strategy, mentor engineers, and drive adoption of best practices.
• Excellent ability to create and maintain clear architectural documentation.

Responsibilities

• Designing and overseeing scalable data models integrated from multiple sources as Data Hub.
• Define patterns, templates, and best practices for data engineering.
• Establish data governance, access policies, and security for data layer/Data Hubs.
• Ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of large datasets.
• Prepare solutions for streaming and batch data ingestion and model updates.
• Implement automated data validation and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and AI/ML teams to align architecture with business needs.
• Maintain architecture documentation and mentor engineers.

About the role

As a Data Solution Architect, you will define and implement the architecture, standards, and best practices for scalable Data Hubs that support analytical, reporting, operational, and Generative AI use cases. This role requires strategic thinking, deep technical expertise, and the ability to guide engineers, shape data governance, and ensure system scalability and performance.

How you will get the job done

• designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable, efficient data models integrating multiple sources in the form of Data Hub
• defining patterns, templates, and best practices for data engineering
• establishing data governance, access policies, and security frameworks for data layer / Data Hubs
• ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of large-scale datasets
• preparing solutions for streaming and batch data ingestion, transformation, and updating models
