Job summary

Sii Poland is looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team, focusing on Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and data pipelines that process large volumes of data. You will grow towards Data Engineering, Big Data, or Machine Learning and influence real project outcomes.

You'll design and maintain scalable pipelines, collaborate with analytics and product teams, and implement CI/CD for data solutions while applying Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of experience as Data Engineer or similar in production.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
• Ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines (batch/streaming).
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data processing and orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD for data solutions and IaC (Terraform).
• Familiarity with large data volumes and performance considerations.
• Fluent English and Polish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Work with BigQuery as main data warehouse: modeling, queries, and cost optimization.
• Ingest data from files, databases, APIs, and events and process it.
• Orchestrate data workflows using Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer.
• Create and maintain CI/CD solutions for data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Ensure data quality, monitor pipelines, and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams to deliver well-documented data.
