Sii Poland is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team, building cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will work with experts and grow toward Data Engineering, Big Data, or Machine Learning, and have a real impact on projects.

In this role you will design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines, optimize BigQuery usage, orchestrate workflows with Airflow, and contribute to data architecture.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years in a Data Engineer role or similar with production data experience.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery modeling and optimization.
• Experience designing and maintaining batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python for data processing and orchestration.
• Experience with Airflow/Cloud Composer and CI/CD for data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP.
• Work with BigQuery as the data warehouse: modeling, querying and cost optimization.
• Integrate data from files, databases, APIs and events.
• Orchestrate data workflows using Airflow/Cloud Composer.
• Create and maintain CI/CD solutions for data pipelines.
• Manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
• Ensure data quality and monitor pipelines.
• Collaborate with analytics, BI and product teams on data products.
• Contribute to data architecture and best practices in data engineering.
