ALTEN Polska w Krakowie poszukuje doświadczonego specjalisty ds. baz danych z kdb+ do projektów używanych w AI Markets. Praca w środowisku niskich opóźnień i dużych wolumenów danych, ze współpracą z zespołami AI i inżynierią danych.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Projektuj, rozwijaj i optymalizuj procesy kdb+ dla niskich opóźnień i dużej przepustowości.
• Twórz warstwy analityczne i agregacyjne dla systemów downstream i modeli AI/ML.
• Udostępniaj dane i analitykę przez API/usługi dla interfejsów i silników AI.
• Współpracuj z zespołami AI/data engineering w zapewnianiu struktur danych do trenowania modeli.
• Wdrażaj monitorowanie, alerty i zarządzanie pojemnością środowisk kdb+.

Job description

Nasze wymagania:

• Strong hands-on experience with large-volume datasets in production environments.
• Proven ability to optimize data queries and processes for low-latency, high-volume data.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux, scripting (Bash, Python), and version control (Git).
• Experience in FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, or Commodities trading environments.
• Understanding of electronic trading, pricing, and risk concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and service deployment.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments.
• Clear understanding of secure coding, data protection, and operational risk principles.

Mile widziane:

• Experience with kdb+.
• Experience supporting AI/ML or analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with time-series analytics, anomaly detection, or signal generation for trading or client analytics.
• Previous experience in a global investment bank or electronic trading firm.

Zakres obowiązków:

• Design, develop, and optimize kdb+ processes and queries to meet low-latency, high-throughput requirements for AI Markets use cases.
• Build analytic and aggregation layers for consumption by downstream systems, APIs, and AI/ML models.
• Expose kdb+ data and analytics via APIs/services to front-ends, AI engines, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with AI/data engineering teams to provide structured datasets for model training and execution.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and capacity management for kdb+ environments.
• Ensure resilience, failover, and disaster recovery strategies for critical market-facing services.
• Partner with traders, sales, quants, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Adhere to operational risk, model risk, and data governance policies, including auditability and access control.
• Contribute to code reviews, development standards, and best practices for kdb+ and related technologies.
