Job summary
Reboot Monkey in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, manage structured cabling, and support capacity planning.
The role demands 3+ years in data center operations, strong troubleshooting, and excellent documentation. On-site work with occasional on-call rotation and night/weekend shift differentials may apply.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in data center operations
- Experience with server and network equipment installation and maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Knowledge of power distribution and UPS systems
- Familiarity with cabling (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2) and rack/stack operations
- Experience with DCIM platforms and ITIL practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
- Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
- Execute hardware deployments and decommissions
- Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security)
- Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
- Participate in capacity planning and upgrades
