Job summary

AMD is seeking a Datacenter Technician to provide on-site support in a Data Centre environment. You will handle break-fix for rack deployments, incident management for sustain operations, and project-related tasks while contributing to knowledge base improvements and asset management.

The role requires strong server hardware knowledge, RCA experience, and familiarity with WDS/PXE/DHCP/FTP deployments, plus the ability to lift heavy equipment. Collaboration with local AMD Tech Team is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in computer-related field; Bachelor’s preferred or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with server hardware and RCA history or failure analysis.
• Familiarity with deployment technologies (WDS, PXE, DHCP, FTP).
• Ability to lift and move heavy servers (up to 70 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support in Data Centre environments.
• Perform break-fix for new rack deployment and incident management for sustain operations.
• Assist in reports, failure analysis, and knowledge sharing (KB/SOP).
• Support senior staff and contribute to DC project activities.
