Job summary

AMD is seeking Datacenter Technicians to support customers and AMD staff in deploying and maintaining servers in a data centre environment. The role emphasizes strong hardware knowledge, RCA skills, and hands-on support for sustain and deployment activities.

Ideal candidates will balance technical proficiency with attention to detail, and be prepared to collaborate with local, regional, and global AMD Services leadership while adapting to flexible hours as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in a computer-related field. Bachelor's preferred or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Server+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• On-site data centre support for customer deployments and maintenance.
• Provide break-fix and incident management for sustain operations and projects.
• Assist in asset management, DC floor planning, and knowledge sharing with the team.
• Support senior staff and mentor junior AMD Tech Team members.
• Communicate effectively with customers and AMD leadership to meet SLAs.
