Job summary

NTI, a Network Connex Company, is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead day-to-day field execution of data center fit-out projects, including conveyance, cabling, fiber, racks, and labeling. You will coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and PMO, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality while maintaining strong communication across construction managers, foremen, and project staff.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of telecom installation experience in data centers or mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years of field leadership (Foreman/Construction Manager).
• Proficiency with structured cabling, fiber optics, and rack installation.
• Ability to read construction drawings and diagrams.
• Strong communication across multiple field teams and stakeholders.
• Experience supervising union labor and subcontractors.
• Solid safety and quality control understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations across multiple scopes in the data center.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, materials, and activities with PMO.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
• Direct subcontractor performance and monitor production metrics daily.
• Oversee materials, tools, and equipment availability for installations.
• Provide daily progress updates and maintain field documentation.
