Job summary

The Associate Field Engineer - Validations plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and successful commissioning of bulk fiber infrastructure within hyperscale data center environments.

This role supports validation, testing, and documentation of large-scale fiber installations, ensuring work meets project specifications and customer acceptance

Qualifications

• Proficient in fiber testing and validation to ensure quality standards.
• Able to interpret test results and document findings accurately.
• Familiarity with industry standards like ANSI/TIA and BICSI is a plus.
• Experience with data center environments and high-volume deployments.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support OLTS (Tier 1) and OTDR (Tier 2) testing.
• Review fiber installation quality including routing, labeling, termination, and splicing.
• Assist in test result packages and turnover documentation for acceptance.
• Coordinate with crews to troubleshoot and resolve test failures.
• Maintain records of test results, fiber counts, and as-built conditions.
