Job summary

Aon sp. z o.o. in Cracow is seeking a Data Analyst focusing on Construction & Infrastructure to support global analytics and drive performance using CRM, finance, and production data.

You will develop dashboards, automate reporting, and partner with regional teams to ensure data quality and actionable insights across the enterprise.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with large datasets to produce insights.
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau); SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM and enterprise systems and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Produce clear sales and pipeline reports with high data quality.
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and shape requirements.
  • Combine data from CRM, Excel, finance and production systems for insights.
  • Build and enhance dashboards in Power BI following standards.
  • Own analytics product lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
  • Train users and provide documentation and guidance.
  • Maintain data accuracy across dashboards and CRM.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency.
  • Manage workload and contribute to team projects.

Data Analyst – Construction & Infrastructure

As part of the Enterprise Analytics team, this Data Analyst role is dedicated to supporting multiple colleagues around the globe with analytics facilitating growth, sales, marketing, and performance of Aon’s Construction and Infrastructure industry specialty.

Aon’s Construction & Infrastructure industry specialty is a global team of insurance advisers and brokers focused on providing risk management advice and insurance solutions to clients designing, developing, and building construction projects all around the world.

The position focuses on using CRM, financial, sales, and other organizational data assets for advanced analytics and reporting. Core responsibilities include data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), data modeling, requirements gathering, and the development of advanced dashboards. The role also includes user training, demonstrations, documentation, and user administration. This role involves working with partners based in multiple geographies including Poland, US, Singapore, UK, Ireland and India.

Our office is located in Cracow and this opportunity is open to a 50/50 hybrid working model, offered on contract of employment.

What the day will look like
  • Produce clear, accurate sales and pipeline reports on a regular cadence, with strong data quality and increasing automation.
  • Respond to ad‑hoc reporting and insight requests, helping partners shape requirements and pushing back when requests don’t make valuable contributions.
  • Combine data from multiple sources (CRM, Excel, Finance and Production systems, data warehouses, APIs) to deliver reliable, actionable insights, with scalability in mind.
  • Turn business needs into effective dashboards and reports, improving or building solutions where needed.
  • Validate, reconcile and maintain data across dashboards, CRM and related systems, identifying and fixing issues at source.
  • Partner with global CRM, sales enablement and regional teams to keep client and pipeline data accurate and consistent.
  • Build and improve dashboards in Power BI, following data, UX and branding standards.
  • Own the full lifecycle of analytics products: requirements, build, testing, deployment and ongoing improvement.
  • Support users through training, documentation and day‑to‑day guidance on data and tools.
  • Manage your workload independently, contribute to team projects, and spot opportunities where data can drive better decisions.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets to produce clear insights.
  • Advanced Excel and proven experience with BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau or similar); SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM and enterprise systems, and building or maintaining dashboards and data models.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, able to explain data simply and work closely with stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership, prioritisation and follow‑through, with a focus on data quality and continuous improvement.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to work across teams and regions.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new data and analytics techniques where they add real value.
