Seargin Ltd. is seeking a data-focused professional to translate business requirements into scalable data processing solutions. You will develop Spark-based jobs, transform and validate large datasets, and work with developers, IT security, and customers to ensure successful delivery of analytics projects.

The role emphasizes data quality, problem solving, and clear communication with stakeholders in an international setting. Fluency in English and a IT-related degree are preferred.

Competenze

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Experience with large datasets and SQL for querying and manipulating data.
• Experience with Apache Spark or similar technologies for large-scale processing.
• Knowledge of Python, Scala, Java, or C#.

• Analyse Business and Customer Requirements
  • Gather and analyse business and customer requirements, translating them into data processing solutions and clearly defined technical specifications.
• Develop Data Processing Jobs
  • Develop and maintain data processing jobs using Apache Spark, working with large datasets to support business and analytical needs.
• Transform and Validate Large Datasets
  • Perform data analysis, transformation, and validation, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality across processing workflows.
• Test and Troubleshoot Data Solutions
  • Test implemented solutions, investigate processing issues, identify data quality problems, and support their resolution.
• Collaborate with Technical Teams and Stakeholders
  • Work closely with developers, IT Security teams, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and communication.
• Improve Data Processing and Reporting Solutions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing data processing and reporting solutions, identifying opportunities to enhance their quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to investigate complex data-related problems and identify inconsistencies.
• Large Dataset Experience and SQL Knowledge
  • Practical experience working with large datasets and good knowledge of SQL for querying, analysing, and manipulating data.
• Apache Spark or Similar Technologies
  • Experience with Apache Spark or comparable technologies used for large-scale data processing, transformation, and validation.
• Programming Language Knowledge
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language: Python, Scala, Java, or C#.
• Business Analysis and Stakeholder Communication
  • Ability to translate business requirements into data processing logic and technical specifications, with confidence communicating directly with customers and stakeholders.
• Data Quality, Education and English Proficiency
  • Experience in data analysis, validation, and identifying data quality issues, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably IT-related), and English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
