Job summary

Avanade in Kraków is seeking a Data & AI Engineer to design and deliver intelligent solutions on Azure, combining OpenAI, AI Foundry and other Azure AI capabilities with solid data engineering practices.

You will build AI-driven pipelines, collaborate with data engineers and solution architects, and progressively take on data engineering tasks as projects require. This role blends AI delivery with data platform integration across client environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with the Azure AI stack (OpenAI, AI Foundry, Cognitive Services).
• Strong Python skills.
• Comfort translating AI concepts into clear guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of prompt engineering techniques.
• Solid grasp of data engineering fundamentals (ETL, data modeling).
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Ideally, practical exposure to data engineering platforms and tools such as Databricks, ADF, MS Fabric.

Responsibilities

You’ll contribute to cross-industry projects that bring together Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and other leading AI capabilities. When required by the project, you’ll also take on Data Engineering work—building data pipelines and implementing ETL processes.
