Job summary

Maersk Customs Services in Poland is seeking a Customs Operations Specialist to join our Warsaw GSC. You will coordinate customs services operations, collaborate with internal logistics and supply chain teams, and support post-clearance audits and compliance reporting.

You will work in an Agile environment with a shift pattern from 6:00am to 11:00pm and flexible arrangements. You will communicate in Polish and English, build strong relationships with clients, and grow your expertise in global

• Customs & Logistics – You are working in a Customs or Import/export environment
• Tech-savvy – A good working knowledge of MS Office is helpful.
• Independent & deadline-driven – You can manage your own workload and keep things moving.
• Regulated environment experience – If you’ve worked in customs, logistics, or a similar field, that’s a bonus!
• Great communicator – Fluent English and confidence in building relationships. We are also interested in candidates that have additional European languages
• Process-focused & problem-solver – You love improving ways of working.

As a Customs Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations. You will coordinate and organize a range of customs services operations - no two days are the same, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow and shape the role to fit your strengths! Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. You will work closely with our internal logistics and supply chain teams to optimize customs processes and handle post-clearance audits and compliance reporting. Your ability to communicate effectively in both Polish and English will be essential in managing high-volume transactions and providing excellent service to our clients.

Who are we looking for?

Whilst we are looking for individuals with proven experience within logistics or a customs-related role, we are also open to candidates who have transferrable skills and experience, either within a customer facing administrative role and/or a role which requires strong attention-to-detail within a process-orientated environment. Knowledge of EU or global customs regulations, along with experience using any clearance or logistics software and electronic systems will help you excel in the role. If you have a certification in customs compliance or brokerage, that's a plus, but not mandatory.
