Job summary

Red Sky Poland is seeking a CTO & Co‑founder to co-build a robotics automation startup. You will be the resident technical robotics expert, shaping hardware strategy and leading early product development alongside a commercial co-founder.

You’ll architect the hardware/software stack, prototype with mechatronics and ROS2, integrate Physical AI with robotics, and recruit a small engineering team as the company grows. This is a hands-on founder role with remote work from Poland.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in robotics or deep-tech startups (≥3 years).
• Hands-on experience blending electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Deep robotics engineering experience including hardware design, prototyping, and sensor integration.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage the company with the commercial co-founder and align technical strategy with business goals.
• Hands-on development & hardware prototyping: architecting, assembling, wiring, and commissioning physical solutions with hardware-software integration.
• End-to-end physical integration & execution: build, power up, debug, and program system prototypes from scratch.
• Real-world validation, field testing, and hands-on commissioning in client environments.
• Leverage Physical AI models to drive process automation in hardware-driven settings.
• Define tech stack, software/hardware architecture, and scalability roadmap.
• Recruit, lead, and mentor a small robotics engineering team.
