Job summary

Cundall in Warsaw is seeking a BIM Manager to lead BIM on prestigious data centre projects across Europe and internationally. You will produce and coordinate BIM models and drawings for MEP design, using Revit, Forma, and Navisworks, while ensuring alignment with project standards and BIM execution plans.

You will manage models from setup to final issue, input COBie/IFC as required, and review others' models for clashes.

Qualifications

• Background in building services with MEP experience.
• Experience using BIM and Revit in a consultancy or MEP contractor role.
• Proficiency with Forma and Navisworks for clash detection.
• Ability to follow Cundall templates and standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate BIM models and drawings for RIBA Stages 2–4 MEP design.
• Review models, run clash detection and provide coordination reports to engineers.
• Contribute to automation developments for Revit and BIM within the team.
• Write and review BIM execution plans detailing responsibilities and deliverables.
• Communicate with engineers and BIM leads in Polish and English.

We have an exciting opportunity for a BIM Manager to join our growing team in Warsaw, leading BIM on prestigious data centre projects across Europe and internationally.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented BIM manager to join our team at our office in Warsaw to produce and coordinate BIM models and drawings for RIBA Stages 2‑4 MEP Design for a wide range of exciting local and international building projects.

As part of our established team of expert engineers, technicians and BIM managers, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will develop coordinated BIM models and drawings following Cundall’s templates and design standards. You will also have opportunities to use a variety of other digital engineering tools and software to support the design and coordination processes.

You will manage models from set‑up, view and sheet creation through to final issue with incorporated asset data, input COBie, IFC, Uniclass into models as required by the project BIM execution plan and information exchange requirements. Where models are produced by engineers you will review the models, run clash detection and provide reports to engineers to aid coordination.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to our automation developments for Revit and BIM by submitting ideas to our in‑house digital team for development and incorporation into our standard ways of working, helping to drive forward Cundall’s automation and improve business efficiency.

You will also write and review project BIM execution plans, detailing the responsibilities, processes and deliverables of the design team through the project lifecycle.

The Skills

You have a background in building services and experience with mechanical, electrical and public health disciplines, ideally educated to HNC level or higher within the subject. You have strong practical experience of BIM and using Revit in a similar role within the industry, working either at consultancies or specialist MEP contractors.

You understand how to utilise Autodesk Forma alongside Revit for model management and clash detection, and how to use Navisworks for clash detection for MEP services against various other disciplines and trades.

You can work to Cundall standards and templates and produce models and drawings independently and from mark‑ups as required (sketches and Bluebeam PDFs). You are able to produce MEP services models and drawings that are coordinated and fit within the constraints of the building layout on various projects.

You understand the RIBA plan of works and BSRIA BG6 and the various stages included in these, as well as the level of detail needed for each stage. You appreciate the key processes of ISO 19650.

You are adept at planning and organising your workload alongside other BIM managers, communicating effectively with engineers, technicians and BIM leads, and have proven experience working under pressure to strict deadlines. You share Cundall’s passion for creative, sustainable and intuitive design.

You will need to communicate in Polish and English.
