Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Warsaw seeks a Credit Controller to manage timely collection of payments from subtenants and maintain healthy cash flow. You will minimize bad debt, build client relationships, and ensure adherence to company procedures.

You will analyze payment patterns, prepare aging reports, and collaborate with property managers to resolve disputes while upholding accounting standards and regulations. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role preferably in Real Estate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using financial software and MS Office applications.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Issuing demands on regular and ad-hoc basis as per conditions included in the lease agreements.
  • Collection of arrears from tenants. Follow up on overdue payments and execute collections strategies to ensure timely debt recovery.
  • Preparing regular reports on aging, unallocated cash and outstanding balances.
  • Analyse customer payment patterns and provide recommendations for improving collection performance.
  • Identify potential risk areas and implement strategies to mitigate credit risks.
  • Liaise with property managers and tenants to resolve disputes efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding credit control matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations.
