Job summary

ABB Kraków is seeking an independent and reliable R&D engineer to lead cost reduction activities for energy distribution products. You will work with international cross-functional teams and present analyses to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in mechanical or electrical engineering, has 3–4 years in design, and communicates in English. You will contribute to a smarter, cleaner future through design for assembly and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience with Design for Assembly/Manufacturing or Should-Cost analyses in energy/automotive markets.
• Ability to develop cost effective product concepts and identify design improvements.
• Up to 3–4 years of experience in product or part designing.
• Analytical mind with creative problem solving.
• Proficient in English.
