Job summary

Arup in Poland is seeking a Cost Engineer to lead the delivery of cost management services across the full project lifecycle, providing strategic commercial advice and ensuring decisions align with objectives from feasibility through construction and handover.

The role involves preparing estimates, managing procurement, post‑contract cost management, and collaborating with clients and consultants to maximise value, while maintaining rigorous reporting and forecasting standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cost management, estimation, and cost control.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent Polish and good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies, estimates, and cost plans for projects.
• Manage procurement, tendering activities, and contract documentation.
• Oversee post-contract cost management including valuations, cost checks, change control, and forecasting.
• Support value engineering and final accounts; advise clients and project teams.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to align costs with objectives.
