Job summary

Arup is seeking a Cost Engineer in Poland to lead cost management across the project lifecycle, delivering estimates, cost plans and reports to drive value. You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to maintain commercial alignment from feasibility to handover.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and 4+ years’ cost management experience, with emphasis on procurement, forecasting, and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of cost management experience on construction projects.
• Experience as Cost Manager on small to medium projects is an advantage.
• Good understanding of procurement and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies, estimates, and cost plans with clear recommendations.
• Manage procurement/tendering activities and contract documentation.
• Oversee post-contract cost management: valuations, cost checks, forecasts, monthly reports.
• Support value engineering and final accounts negotiation.
• Provide timely commercial input to clients and consultants.
