Zusammenfassung

Arup in Poland seeks a Cost Engineer to lead cost management across project lifecycle, advising on cost, risk, change and procurement to maximise value. You will prepare estimates, cost plans, manage procurement, and oversee post-contract cost control and reporting.

Fluent Polish and good English are required, with 4+ years of experience and a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. Hybrid or flexible working options may apply.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil/Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience and strong technical knowledge of cost management, including estimating, cost planning, cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting.
• Experience as Cost Manager on small to medium-sized projects is an advantage.
• Good understanding of procurement methods and value engineering.

Aufgaben

• Prepare feasibility studies, estimates, and cost plans, presenting clear cost advice and recommendations to clients and project teams.
• Manage procurement and tendering activities, including pre-qualification, tender documentation, bid analysis, tender reports, and contract documentation.
• Oversee post-contract cost management, including valuations, cost checks, change control, cost forecasting, and monthly reporting.
• Support value engineering and financial close-out, identifying opportunities to improve value and negotiating final accounts.
• Advise clients and collaborate with consultants throughout the project lifecycle, providing accurate and timely commercial input.
