Job summary

Imperial Brands PLC, a truly international FMCG company with 25,000 employees, is seeking a Cost Controller in Kraków to take ownership of cost analysis, transfer pricing, and inventory valuation in a modern production environment.

You will work closely with the Factory Controller, produce monthly production/inventory reports, support month-end closes, and contribute to budgeting and strategic financial decisions in a collaborative, inclusive global team.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in finance, cost accounting, and production processes.
• Good knowledge of Excel and a basic understanding of ERP systems.
• Familiarity with accounting principles.
• Analytical, critical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• A genuine interest in Lean, IT, or automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Calculating and monitoring transfer costs for all Rizla products and providing accurate cost prices for internal reporting.
• Updating transfer prices and performing intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitoring inventory valuation and ensuring proper alignment with BE GAAP.
• Preparing and analyzing monthly reports on production, inventory, waste, and cost variances.
• Supporting the Assistant Controller with month-end closing and reporting.
• Contributing to budget preparation and NTM meetings, together with the management team, to support well-founded financial decision-making.
