Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Rzeszów, Poland is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for on-site freelance work supporting mission-critical infrastructure. You will perform hardware installations, decommissions, migrations, structured cabling, server racking, labeling, and cross-connects.

Documentation with photos and notes is required, with coordination to remote NOC and client teams. Two years of data center or IT infra experience and relevant certifications are preferred to ensure high-quality,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center or IT infra experience.
• Proficient in structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell/HP/Supermicro).
• Strong English communication.
• Willingness to work on-site in Rzeszów.
• Familiarity with DCIM and ticketing systems preferred.
• Data center certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling and patching.
• Rack, stack, and label servers.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document work with photos and notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
• Lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floors.
• Maintain safety and professional communication.
