Job summary

IDES Consultants Polska Sp. z o.o. in Łódź seeks a Consolidation and Reporting Specialist to verify data across the group and prepare consolidation packages under IFRS.

You will contribute to standalone and consolidated financial statements, collaborate with auditors, and support intercompany reconciliations. The role involves monthly group reporting, closing activities, and transfer pricing documentation, with opportunities to develop the group finance function within an international capital

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance or economics or related field.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and consolidating financial statements.
• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience in a similar position.
• Advanced MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Knowledge of Jedox is welcome.
• Audit experience is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify the correctness of reported data by entities from the group.
• Prepare single entity consolidation packages.
• Participate in the consolidation of the group financial statements.
• Assist in preparing standalone and consolidated IFRS financial statements.
• Cooperate with the auditor during audits.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Calculate adjustments to standalone subsidiary statements for IFRS (IFRS 9, 16).
• Communicate with foreign subsidiaries' finance teams.
• Prepare financial information and reports for internal/external needs of the Group.
• Prepare monthly presentations of the Group's financial results.
• Analyze data for management accounts.
• Participate in month and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare transfer pricing documentation.

Consolidation and Reporting Specialist

Location: Łódź.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and verification of the correctness of reported data by entities from the capital group
• Preparation of single entity consolidation packages
• Participation in the consolidation of the financial statements of the capital group
• Participation in the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Cooperation with the auditor during the financial audit
• Reconciliation of intercompany transactions
• Calculation of adjustments to standalone financial statements of subsidiaries to comply with IFRS (including IFRS 9, 16)
• Communication with the financial departments of foreign subsidiaries
• Preparation of financial information and reports for the internal and external needs of the Group
• Preparing monthly presentations of the Group's financial results
• Analysis and verification of data prepared for the management accounts
• Participation in the month and year closing process
• Preparation of transfer pricing documentation

Qualifications

• Higher education in accounting, finance or economics or a related field
• Knowledge of financial reporting and the principles of consolidating financial statements
• Knowledge of the IFRS
• Experience in a similar position
• Practical knowledge of MS Excel at the advanced level
• Experience in handling ERP class accounting systems
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Analytical thinking skills
• Team work skills
• Knowledge of the Jedox system is welcome
• Experience in audit is welcome
