Job summary

Fujitsu in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Configuration/Deployment Specialist to support deployment, environment management, and testing across backend and client devices.

You will monitor system health daily and coordinate with vendors on technical issues, contributing to Azure deployment efforts and SharePoint tooling in an international team.

Strong knowledge of deployment management, AGILE/RUP, and development tools is essential to succeed in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

The selected candidate will perform the following typical tasks and responsibilities:

• Deployment Support: Support the ICT team in application build, integration, and deployment for both backend and client devices (mobile, PC).
• Environment Management: Support the ICT team in system environment management and configuration.
• Testing Support: Assist the project team in system tests.
• System Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the functioning, performance, and health of the system daily.
• Issue Coordination: Report and coordinate technical issues related to system environments.
• Vendor Liaison: Coordinate and communicate with system vendors/contractors regarding all technical issues on behalf of Frontex ICT.
• Cloud Support: Provide support to ICT staff and project teams in the deployment of development environments in Azure.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

The candidate should possess the following knowledge and skills:

• Management Expertise: Excellent knowledge of software deployment management and good knowledge of software release management.
• Methodologies: Knowledge of RUP and/or AGILE methodologies.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of application servers, RDBMS, and development tools.
• Tooling: Knowledge of building and deployment tools (e.g., Ant, Azure Pipelines).
• Communication: Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings and excellent communication skills.
• Collaboration: Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment.
