Job summary

Altherias in Warsaw seeks a Configuration/Deployment Specialist to support ICT teams during build, integration, deployment, and environment management. You will monitor system health, coordinate with vendors, and assist in Azure deployments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in ICT, 8+ years IT experience and 3+ years in a similar role, with strong knowledge of deployment and release management, and SharePoint expertise.

Job description

We are looking for a Configuration/ Deployment Specialist for a key client based in Warsaw.

Typical tasks and responsibilities

• Support ICT team in application build, integration and deployment – both backend and client devices (mobile, PC)
• Support ICT team in system environment management and configuration
• Support project team in system tests
• Monitor and analyse functioning of system on daily basis
• Monitor system performance and health
• Report and coordinate technical issues related to system environments
• Coordinate and communicate with system vendor/contractor regarding all technical issues
• Providing support to ICT staff and project teams in deployment of development environment in Azure

Education

• Bachelor's degree in an ICT-related field.
• B2 level - certified or willing to obtain the certification shortly (free and online)

Experience

• At least 8 years of IT professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position

Knowledge and skills

• Excellent knowledge of software deployment management
• Good knowledge of software release management
• Knowledge of RUP and/or AGILE methodologies
• Knowledge of application servers
• Knowledge of building and deployment tools (e.g., Ant, Azure Pipelines)
• Knowledge of development tools
• Knowledge of RDBMS

Specific requirements

• Mastery of Sharepoint and Sharepoint platform-specific tools
• Expert in application building and deployment

Location & Work Modality

• Warsaw (Near-site) - candidates must be based within 2h driving distance from Warsaw.
• Up to 5 days per month or ad-hoc on-site presence might be required.
