Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced commissioning engineer for STATCOM and grid infrastructure projects. You will lead site execution, develop commissioning sequences, and coordinate with design, construction, and client teams.

You will manage on-site safety programs, monitor progress, review test protocols, and ensure compliance with GE EHS standards, while mentoring an international team across multiple locations. Proficiency in English and Polish required, willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Experience on large-scale offshore-to-onshore grid projects (HV substations, STATCOM/FACTS) required.
Proven ability to lead international teams and manage critical project schedules.
Strong HSE culture and ability to enforce safety requirements across sites.
Excellent communication in English and Polish; capable of stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

Develop commissioning sequences and site execution plans with a focus on critical path.
Monitor contractor progress and report to Commissioning Management on site.
Prepare and review documentation and test protocols for commissioning.
Lead meetings with customers and TSOs and coordinate with design office.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and project specs.
