Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Łódź seeks a Commissioning Engineer to ensure installations, plants and equipment are correctly tested and proven prior to being put into service. The role requires an operationally authorised individual who can assist in the delivery of several projects and staff progression.

As part of the Capital Programme Operations Team you will sign off new multi-million-pound installations as fit for service, and operate the Network from an Authorised Person perspective up to 132kV,

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering HNC/HND is required.
• Holds a full AP status for a minimum of two voltage levels.
• Is a member of the IET and holds Eng Tech status while working towards IEng.
• Minimum of three years’ Primary or Secondary Operational experience in the Primary and Secondary network of a DNO.
• Holds a NEBOSH safety General or Construction qualification.
• Ability to work in a focused team to meet deadlines and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of multiple electrical projects.
• Coordinate with Construction team and stakeholders to ensure resources.
• Mentor and coach to support staff authorisations development.
• Ensure commissioning assurance through audits of quality, competencies, and safety procedures.
• Ensure project completion data is collected and submitted.
• Manage commissioning drawings and test forms including as-built records.
• Oversee all stages of commissioning from cold testing to energisation for several projects.
• Keep up to date with relay and testing software to install equipment onto the network.
• Review designs for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Designers and Surveyors to produce workable designs.
• Contribute to Hazard Elimination and Management Checklist (HEML).
• Ensure RAMS and SSOW are in place for each task.
