Job summary

State Street is seeking an M365 Purview Engineer to join the Collaboration Services team in Poland. The role focuses on Purview and Defender solutions across the enterprise, with hands-on work across Exchange, Teams and SharePoint.

You will gather requirements, engineer solutions, document processes and support end-user communities. The role requires collaboration with tower leads and operations, and includes contributing to governance, audit readiness and data security initiatives.

Working with your tower lead as well as with various tower leads, engineers & operations team members, the M365 Purview engineer will be primarily responsible requirement gathering, solution engineering, documentation and support for Purview and Defender solutions across the enterprise. This person will need to support end user communities for the solutions in Purview and Defender.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As the Collaboration Services M365 Purview Engineer you will

• Contributing to and documenting technical standards.
• Work with and help support business units that are direct users of the solutions.
• Work directly with M365 application engineers to assist their integrations to Purview and Defender.
• Provide technical support to the Collaboration Services operations team.
• Provide technical documentation for operations
• Provide support to key business units like legal, records management, privacy and cyber security to support their usage.
• Contribute to the data governance initiatives
• Prepare for, and take part in, internal audit activities
• Work with your Tower lead on product roadmap and future state planning
• Working across towers to continuously evaluate and improve our data governance and data security postures.
• Provide L5 support in the event of major incidents.
• Work to reduce tech debt; routinely look for and offer up rationalization proposals
• Document implementation steps for solutions like records management and data lifecycle management.
• Create User guides for solutions that end users interact with.

What We Value

• Deep knowledge and experience with multiple Purview/Defender solution and fundamental understanding of all of them.
• Knowledge about Unified Communications / Collaboration industry standards & trends
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, M365 application suite, conditional access policies, Microsoft Teams, Azure B2B and external collaboration
• Ability to work independently as well as lead others toward a common goal.
• Energetic self-starter who is a detailed and organized critical thinker and problem solver
• Understanding that good documentation is fundamentally important
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Note: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the office

Minimum Salary

zł182,004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
