Job summary

Commerzbank Digital Technology Centre Poland in Łódź is seeking a Cobol Software Engineer to work in an international Agile team developing and maintaining Cobol/Mainframe applications for securities accounts and trading.

You will participate in all lifecycle stages, from analysis to implementation and testing, and help integrate AI-based solutions into the Cobol/Mainframe environment while collaborating with analysts, architects and Scrum roles.

Qualifications

• High knowledge of Cobol mainframe development.
• Good knowledge of IDZ development environment.
• High knowledge of IBM DB2.
• Good knowledge of Mainframe-relevant components.
• English B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Cobol/Mainframe applications for securities accounts and trading.
• Analyze, design, implement and test interfaces to other IT systems.
• Work on complex programming tasks in a team of specialists.
• Prepare software builds, release packages and rollouts in production.
• Work in an Agile environment and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
• Implement AI-based solutions into Cobol/Mainframe environments.
