Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect for a long-term contract with hybrid work from Wrocław, Poland. You will shape the enterprise cloud strategy and governance in a global industrial company undergoing digital transformation.

You will lead cloud architecture initiatives, align roadmaps with business objectives, and collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to drive modernization across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Cloud Transformation roles.
• Strong experience designing cloud strategies and roadmaps.
• Hands-on understanding of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives.
• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (networking, security, compute, storage).
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluent English.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise cloud strategy and roadmap.


• Define cloud architecture principles, standards, and best practices.


• Assess the current cloud landscape and identify opportunities for improvement and modernization.


• Create target architectures and technology recommendations aligned with business and IT objectives.


• Provide architectural guidance across cloud and hybrid environments.


• Support the transition from traditional on-premises environments toward modern cloud solutions.


• Establish cloud governance frameworks covering security, scalability, cost optimization, and compliance.


• Collaborate with cloud engineers and infrastructure teams to ensure architectural alignment.


• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend strategic improvements.


• Support technology decision-making together with IT leadership and key stakeholders.


• Contribute to enterprise architecture documentation and maintain architectural visibility.

The Successful Applicant

What we're looking for

• Several years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Cloud Transformation roles.


• Strong experience designing and shaping cloud strategies and roadmaps.


• Hands-on understanding of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.


• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives.


• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including networking, identity, security, compute, and storage.


• Experience defining cloud governance models, standards, and architectural guidelines.


• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.


• Strong communication skills and confidence working with technical and business stakeholders.


• Ability to influence decisions and provide architectural recommendations.


• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.


• Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks or tools such as LeanIX.


• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and automation approaches.


• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or global enterprise environments.


• Relevant cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar).
