Job summary

PwC Polska is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design scalable, secure cloud-native solutions for diverse client needs. You will bridge cloud architecture with software engineering, lead deployments across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, and provide technical guidance to delivery teams.

You will work with senior stakeholders, contribute to proposals, and ensure governance and security are embedded in every solution. A hybrid work model and strong English communication are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or similar role.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of cloud landing zones, networking, security and governance.
• Ability to design within an existing cloud operating model and landing zone.
• Experience in software engineering or application architecture with cloud delivery.
• Experience supervising at least one delivery team or workstream.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, English at B2 level or higher.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and client conversations.

Cloud Solutions Architect

Your future role:

• Designing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions tailored to business requirements,
• Designing cloud solutions that fit existing landing zones and operating models, while taking networking, security and governance requirements into account,
• Bridging cloud architecture with software engineering, ensuring that cloud solutions are designed with practical application delivery, integration, maintainability and operational considerations in mind,
• Providing day‑to‑day oversight of a delivery team, including technical guidance, work prioritisation and quality assurance,
• Ensuring solutions adhere to best practices in cloud security, compliance, and governance,
• Leading the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, managing projects from conception through implementation and post‑deployment support,
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members,
• Supporting client conversations, shaping solution options and contributing to proposals or business development activities where relevant,
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Apply if you have:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect, Application Architect, Technical Architect with cloud-based solutions,
• Practical knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform,
• Understanding of cloud architecture concepts, including how applications are deployed and operated within cloud landing zones, with awareness of networking, security, identity, governance and operating model considerations,
• Ability to design solutions within an existing cloud landing zone and established cloud operating model,
• Proven experience in software engineering or application architecture, with the ability to understand application design, integration patterns, development lifecycle and practical delivery challenges in cloud-enabled transformation projects,
• Practical experience supervising at least one delivery team or technical workstream,
• Experience providing technical guidance, reviewing solution designs and ensuring delivery quality,
• Good understanding of cloud security, compliance and governance best practices,
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills,
• Proficiency in Business English at B2 level or above, including ability to contribute to technical documentation and client-facing materials,
• Expertise in working with senior stakeholders and being exposed to direct client communication.

Nice to have:

• Consulting experience, especially in technology, cloud, digital transformation or IT advisory,
• Experience in business development, pre‑sales, proposal preparation or client offer development,
• Experience in adjacent technology domains such as DevOps, data engineering, data platforms, analytics or AI,
• Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform,
• Experience designing or implementing cloud landing zones,
• Experience working in multi‑cloud environments,
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data, Business or a related field,
• Experience in regulated industries or complex enterprise environments.
