Job summary

Your Jared is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect (GCP) to partner with DevOps teams, designing secure, scalable cloud solutions and guiding cost-aware decisions. You will co-create architectures, develop POCs/MVPs, and accelerate innovation within the Cloud Center of Excellence.

You will lead onboarding across Azure and Google Cloud, educate teams on compliant designs, and drive automation, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC. International exposure and remote options within Poland are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, Computer Science, or Electronics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Architecture Design, and Architecture Governance.
• Hands-on experience with IaaS on Google Cloud (Compute Engine, GKE, VPC).
• Experience with PaaS on GCP (App Engine, Cloud Run, managed DBs).
• Background in data platforms (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc/Databricks).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling on GCP (Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, GitHub).
• Understanding of cloud data integration patterns and modern data architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and architecture design experience in agile environments.
• Familiarity with large international organizations; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in cloud onboarding across Azure and Google Cloud.
• Educate DevOps teams on compliant, secure, and scalable cloud architectures.
• Act as a consulting partner to DevOps teams and remove roadblocks.
• Serve as main contact for DevOps teams and represent the CCoE.
• Promote cloud cost awareness and optimisation strategies.
• Test and develop new cloud technologies to validate solutions.
• Identify service gaps and enhance customer experience with the CCoE product owner.
• Contribute to design/review of cloud architectures for cloud-native and hybrid apps.
• Support automation improvements, including CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Document solution designs and related information.
• Design, develop, and support AI solutions to benefit CCoE processes and customers.

Job description

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (GCP) to act as a trusted partner and consultant to DevOps teams, helping them design and deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. You will support their journey by co-creating architectures, sharing knowledge, aligning on joint milestone planning, educating teams on cloud cost awareness, and developing Proofs of Concept (POCs) or Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to accelerate innovation and validate approaches. This role sits within the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), whose mission is to deliver a scalable, reliable, and automated cloud platform, enabling efficient and sustainable cloud adoption, maximizing value realization, mitigating risks, and supporting business growth through innovation in cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and leadership in cloud onboarding across Azure and Google Cloud, covering both technology and process aspects
• Educate and guide DevOps teams in designing compliant, secure, and scalable cloud architectures tailored to their needs
• Act as a consulting partner to DevOps teams, helping them achieve their objectives and remove roadblocks throughout their cloud journey
• Serve as the main point of contact for DevOps teams and represent the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) as an ambassador
• Promote cloud cost awareness and educate teams on strategies to manage and optimise cloud spend
• Test and develop new cloud technologies and be hands‑on when needed to validate solutions or accelerate adoption
• Identify service gaps and collaborate with the CCoE product owner to enhance the overall customer experience
• Contribute to the design and review of cloud architectures for cloud-native and hybrid applications
• Support DevOps teams in improving automation capabilities, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
• Document solution designs and all other relevant information
• Design, develop, and support AI solutions to further benefit and automate both CCoE internal processes and customer experiences

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, Computer Science, or Electronics
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Architecture Design, and Architecture Governance
• Hands‑on expertise in designing, configuring, and operating IaaS services on Google Cloud, including Compute Engine (VMs), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and VPC networking
• Skills in designing and implementing PaaS solutions using App Engine, Cloud Run, and managed databases such as Cloud SQL, Firestore, and Bigtable
• Background in data platforms, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage (Data Lake), and Dataproc/Databricks
• Experience with CI/CD tooling on GCP, including Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, and Git-based platforms such as GitHub
• Deep understanding of cloud-based data integration patterns and modern data architectures
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex application deployment scenarios, combined with engineering and coding experience applied in agile development environments
• Proven track record in technical architecture design, solution definition, and managing change and risk
• Familiarity with large, international organizations or global service providers
• Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, presentation, and documentation skills, with a self‑starter mindset and collaborative approach
• Fluency in English (B2+ level), both written and spoken, with a strong emphasis on technical communication skills
• Nice to have Capability to design and develop AI solutions such as copilot agents to support CCoE and customers with knowledge and guidance
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
• Understanding of Cloud Design Patterns, Modern Architecture, and Solution Architecture best practices
• Knowledge of Innovation Strategy and driving adoption of new technology solutions
